Since launching Kindle, I've been on an incredible spiritual journey. So much of God's presence has offered support, guidance, and protection over the past few months. The Kindle journey is just beginning and I'm looking forward to seeing it all unfold.

  • We Miss You Uncle Tomo

    After a year long battle with cancer, LeighAnn's uncle passed away at home with family close by and his daughter from Hawaii on Skype webcam. If you can't be there, it was an unbelievable moment for LeighAnn's cousin to say "I love you, Dad" right before he passed. Thank you God for allowing a beautiful moment and for accepting Uncle into heaven. Amen.

    The Wolf's Moving to Pomona

    Just received an update on Katherine Wolf that she is being moved to a rehab facility in Pomona CA - which means that they'll be moving from the home in WLA. What a big move - since they'll be farther away from their support group and church at Bel Air Pres.     Bel Air Pres is going to China

    At the beginning of September, our senior pastor (at Bel Air Presbyterian in Los Angeles), Mark Brewer, and outreach pastor, Enock De Assis, will be traveling with their wives and close friends to China.     I was talking to Brandon today about Katherine's husband, Jay and the burdens that he is under due to Katherine being in the hospital and taking care of their 6-month old son. He's blessed with so much family and friend support, even so, while we're praying for Katherine's recovery, I felt really moved to pray for Jay while he goes through the tremendous stress of this unimaginable situation....

  • Blessings for new paths and possibilities

    Kindle was invited to participate in the annual prayer event at Fuller Theological Seminary called Fuller Fire starting today. I'm excited about the chance to be a part of this 4-day event, and I'm not quite sure what it will all mean for us and where it might lead Kindle.
