About Me

Greg joined the staff of All Saints’ Parish on June 1, 2010, to serve as our parish administrator and a member of the executive staff team. Because of his gifts and experience, he is a valuable spiritual leader in our parish. His background includes: organizational development, marketing, and behavioral psychology. He has served as a consultant and on the staff of churches in several denominations (including Episcopal, Presbyterian, Methodist). Greg served on Younglife Staff in California, VA, DC and helped in the development of YL in the Netherlands and DC Metro region. Greg has extensive small group experience, and has launched a home church. He has served congregations with as few as fifty parishioners, and helped one grow to 2,000 members. In the business sector Greg has worked in four fields: tech, labor, services, and media. He is a Certified Behavioral Consultant using Professional Dynametric Programs (PDP) since 1994. Greg has written materials for those seeking to serve in lay and ordained ministry that measures and guides the aspirant while reflecting on twelves internal qualities and strengths. He currently serves on the Commission on Ministry (COM) for the Diocese of El Camino Real. Greg’s passion is to help people grow into their full potential in ministry and cultivate a loving community of faith that meets the needs of the community and the world.

    Today I got word that the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth is going to move ahead and implement our social network solution for their diocese. We had hoped to begin here in California but I'm thrilled to be able to help that EDFW at this time in the life of the church.   • Stan and Sharon's Baby Tiffany - Premature Delivery

    Pray for Stan and Sharron rushed to the hospital this AM for early delivery. Baby Tiffany is only 33 weeks old, the Dr feels that he would like the baby to have another week inside the womb for further development of the lungs.   • Jake, On topics of truth, there are several perspectives. A perspective is the angle and lens through which we see "truth". Regarding the "sin of homosexuality". It sounds like you have heard one perspective very clearly. Go visit an Episcopal Church in your neighborhood and ask the Priest to help you understand another biblical perspective. PEace my friend.   • You are in my prayers. It may take more soul searching though and this one may not resolve itself the way you would like. Remember this, God has a plan for your life and the lessons we learn through our righteous and unrighteous actions and words (things done and left undone) will be redeemed (made useful again) and make us more holy (purity of heart) if we allow God to work through each situation.

  • Dear Friends in Christ. You are right suicide is not the best way and here's why. YOU despite all your problems, frustrations, sin and failures are going to be a blessing to someone else one day. It'll be YOUR faith story that will help someone else not fall to such depths as you feel you are in today and YOUR motivation that comes from your personal experience that will speak directly to the heart of that other person. You see God is the redeemer not only of our souls but our lives as well. You are precious in God's sight. That's the most amazing reality of Jesus dying on the cross. - That Christ, being God and knowing that every person there after would sin and grieve the heart of God, would still die for our sake. Now this is important... God's forgiveness is already been given you. I don't know what you have done that has you so depressed but nothing, nothing is going to be made right by you punishing yourself through suicide or sparing others from having to put up with you any longer by taking your life. Choose life. Choose to let God redeem your story, not just your soul. Choose to open up to a trust worthy individual, pastor or counselor and let the pressures off your mind, heart and chest. Take some time to care for yourself and let the truth of God's prevailing and prevenient grace grip your soul. Choose life.   • I pray for you too sister. Quiet you voice and listen... listen to Wisdom, listen for the voice of God to you. Listen also to his fears and allow him to make the journey. Accept the love of God and what he has to share with you - and count it as a blessing. If you rush his steps it is likely the relationship will trip and fall. Wounds like that take a long time to heal.

  • You probably know the concept of being a "steward". It is based in the centrality of Jesus in our lives, it results in gratitude and contentment despite the circumstances that befall us and those too we create. As stewards, that which we enjoy today, may be gone tomorrow. Death, transformation, sin, ignorance, growth, discovery, friendships... they affect us all. Consider and focus on the centrality of Jesus in your life. I know the sorrow of being alone. Yet it is important, especially now, to find your contentment in your relationship with God. God delights in you let your heart delight in God's truth, grace and never ending love. Consider that the blessing of your time with this man thus far and give thanks. The blessing may continue and, if you allow - it may become a sweet and cherished memory that builds you up and allows you to love others with greater strength.

  • Dear sister. Jesus has the answer for what troubles your soul. Listen. Wait. Listen, believe and act in faith. Do not let the devil get the best of you and stifle the blessing you can be to others by causing you to live in fear, self-centered dismay and worry.   • I am told that Ellen's wedding was lovely. It has been reported that the family spoke with the neurologist this morning. As there has been no improvement in Mama's brain function in a week now, and he does not believe we will see any improvement in her brain function, the family has given approval to start weaning her off of the ventilator. Please continue your prayers for the Davidson Family as they go through grief and the swell of thoughts that come when mama is passing and you must decide to cease life support.
