The Tragic Death: Update on Visitation and Funeral

Description

The family we've been praying for -- the one that suffered the horrific loss of their oldest son last Friday -- will be gathering tonight (Wednesday) for a time of visitation with friends. I have been asked to speak, and especially to share the Gospel. The funeral service will be held tomorrow. Thank you for your continued prayers.

  • strangely enough, in times of death and darkness, God can still bring light to those in need. as we all know God works in mysterious ways. my prayer to you is for you to continue doing what you and your ministry are doing and may this death, bring new life. i believe that with God, death is not the end, and i hope that your ministry will continue to serve not only this family, but all of those around you.

  • The visitation and funeral went very well. The family was loved on and the Gospel was clear -- and clear again -- and clear again! Praise God especially for the strength shown by the dad, whose words were inspiring and whose strength was awe-inspiring. Pray for one young woman, Courtney, who was particularly impacted by this tragedy, yet who has not yet trusted Christ. Pray that she would be saved. Thank you!
