Pray for Direction and Work
Description
I feel depressed because I feel like I’ve completely failed in the last four years—I’ve worked so many low-paying temp jobs. Now I’m out of work and behind on rent, and I can’t even find companies that are hiring full-time. Maybe I should move down to Seattle and stay with a family until I get on my feet, because it’s easier to get work there. Pray that God will lead me and open the right doors. Also, I’m interested in joining Job Core—maybe I’ll learn a skill or trade so I can make it, and maybe get through college. Please pray for God’s provision and guidance and for hope.

Ah my brother. The Lord hears your cry. Now, live wisely, thriftily, discover your true north, improve upon the skills needed to serve well in that arena, and bless others even in your desperation. Read all you can about humility, dwell yet more on the needs of others and consider the meaning and manner in which Christ humbled himself to became a servant to all.
