You can edit your profile, including your password, on your My Kindle page.
Why do I need an account?
To create a fun and respectful environment for sharing prayers, we require you to create an account to post prayers, leave comments, and create groups.
Do other users see my email address?
No, your email is kept private from all other users.
How will my email address be used?
Your email address is used to let us contact you with important news and updates about Kindle. Your contact information is never shared with third parties.
PRAYER
What are prayer categories?
Prayer categories help classify and organize your prayer requests. Prayer categories allow other Kindle users to find prayers about similar topics.
What are prayer tags?
Tags are keywords or short phrases that you attach to your prayers which make it easy for you and others to find your prayers. For example, you can tag a prayer with three relevant keywords like "work, raise, promotion." By adding tags to your prayers, other Kindle users can find similar prayers that are tagged with the same keywords.

What are privacy settings?
Kindle offers three privacy settings at the group and prayer levels. Privacy settings control who can read and comment on your prayers, and who can view and join your groups.
How do privacy settings work for prayers?
Privacy settings allow you to control who can see your prayers. There are three levels of privacy:
- Public - Everyone can read your prayer.
- Shared - Shared prayers are only visible to the people and groups you choose to share with.
- Private - Private prayers are only seen by you and filed in your My Journal link under your groups list.
How do privacy settings work for groups?
Group privacy settings control who can see your groups' prayer activity. They also control who can join your group. There are three levels of group privacy settings:
- Public - Anyone can join your group.
- Shared - New members must be approved by the group moderator to join the group.
- Private - New members must be invited to join.
GROUPS
What are groups?
Groups allow you to easily share prayer with your bible study, your family, your mission trip members, etc.
What is the difference between a public, semi-private, and private group?
- Public groups - anyone can join these groups. Its members and prayers can be viewed by all.
- Semi-private groups - members must be invited to join and its prayers can be viewed by the
- public.Private groups - members must be invited to join and its prayers are visible to only its members.
How many groups can I form/join?
You may create or join as many groups as you wish.
How do I invite people to join my group?
You may invite members to join your group by utilizing the Share Kindle form located on the right hand side of most screens. Once completed, an email will be sent to these individuals inviting them to join your group. They will have the option to accept or decline your invitation.
SPARKS
What is a spark?
A spark is a way to quickly show your support for a prayer request without having to leave a comment. If you want to join in prayer with someone, spark their prayer.
What happens when I spark a prayer?
A prayer that gets sparked is saved to the Recent Sparks section of your My Kindle page so you can track it over time. Sparked prayers also appear on our home page world map more often which raises its visibility for other people to see.
