I've been working on making a comeback to Columbus for I was working/residing 2004-08. I was laid-off from a major corporation and took on a part-time teaching position that Summer/Fall. I had no other choice but to leave a city I called home later that year for full-time work. Early in 2009, they filed for bankruptcy. Still are to this day. I also decided to close shop on my freelance business after 3 years. People (who I never met) have asked if it will ever return. Right now I am unsure till after I get a new job. Strange though, as of 7/6/10 AM, I met an individual at a morning network event who liked my tri-fold business card design and wanted a similar approach. Maybe it will re-kindle the freelance. Plus later today, I will be meeting for opportunities. With a sparse month for networking/meeting, maybe something will pan out, especially with the follow-ups and classes.
