OCTANE is a prayer group for men at www.occonline.ca. We meet every Tuesday @ 7pm to encourage each other, worship our God, pray together, and get refueled by the Holy Spirit. If you have a need, we'd love to pray for you.

    Just got an email from Michael's wife with an update: Michael's Surgery was very successful the tumour is out and he is recovering very well in hospital right now. He will be released tomorrow morning. Praise The Lord. Please continue to pray for his spinal cord to go back to it's original shape and function. thanks so much. Michael and I feel so loved by you all thank-you again

    Talked to Denise....we've been praying for healing for her kidneys for several weeks. Test results came back fine!! Thanks, Lord!

  • The man in Mark 9:23-24 had the same depressing thoughts. They're called 'mind battles'. Lord, I ask you to do for Debra what you did for him. Cut through those thoughts and send that cancer from her body by your mighty power. Help her during chemo treatments, that she won't have the usual unpleasant symptoms. Thank you Jesus!

  • My prayers are certainly with Debra this week as she continues to keep her faith in the Lord and in her self; that's what's important. I hate to think that sometimes during times like these, people lose faith in God simply because they don't understand why He's doing what He does or why things such as cancer happen to the most beautiful and pure at heart souls. Praying for Debra and her family during these hard times.

  • Just spoke with Debra on the phone. She's holding up well, and chemo is scheduled until June. Her faith is strong, and she counts herself healed, but she asked for prayer to fight off depressing thoughts, as well as chemo symptoms - mild nausea, sore eyes & throat, and tingling/sensitivity in fingers. Let's keep agreeing in faith. God will certainly do it!

  • Just talking with James on the phone right now. Doctors say he may possibly be in early stages of chronic liver rejection. MRI scheduled Mar. 25.
