  • Foursquare HQ Lay-Offs

    Our offices us laid off about 20+ people (from a total of approximately 125) last week. With this economy, it comes at an incredibly inopportune time. They need to find jobs, pay bills, and (most importantly) feed their families. Definitely need God's direction, timing, and peace.

  • JustOne LA Benefit

    Please pray for our JustOne LA Benefit coming up this Saturday at the Paseo in Pasadena. Although JustOne is not technically a faith-based organization, those of leading it deeply root our passions in God's justice. Our heart is that this event will be another catalyst for creating and sustaining more effort to bring care and justice for the poor, orphaned, and those in slavery.

  • Prayer for My Wife

    Last weekend, my wife's grandfather went home to be with God. He was in his late 90's with health issues. We're overjoyed that he's with God, but will miss him. Tonight (Sept 16th) is the funeral, for which my wife was asked to perform the eulogy. There are mixed emotions, both celebratory and painful. Today is my wife's birthday. She's 29. Please pray for my wife and family.

  • Prayer for a Man and His Family

    Please pray for direction, wisdom, patience, understanding, and a fresh touch from God for my family. It has been a tough few years. Financially, it has been difficult. Relationships are a challenge. Loving God and seeking/trusting him has been arduous, at times. I think we need a miracle.

    I received a message from Charles last night saying that he had to head to the ER, again. I’m not altogether sure whether this is related to his high blood pressure (which he recently found out) or something else. He was at the ER pretty late last night (or early this morning).   • Pray for the nation of China that many of the 1.3 billion that suffer under the oppressive government and true liberty would be brought to the people of China

    Pray that the Olympics and the exposure to the world may soften the heart of an oppressive government in China and true freedom will liberate the 1.3 billion Chinese people.     That I will have the focus and wisdom to study hard and get a 4.0 my last year of college to raise my G.P.A so that I can get into a free teaching credential program through L.A.U.S.D next year, while managing a full time job and youth ministry. I feel very overwhelmed and stressed out.

    First, thank you for your prayers. I think I can speak on behalf of Charles and Tina by saying that your prayers are cherished and appreciated. As some of you have already heard, Charles returned from the hospital this morning around 6am. He is currently home resting. Charles initially went to the hospital because he thought his heart felt erratic. However, the EKG test showed that there are no heart problems. However, Charles is still feeling the effects of his high blood pressure. Please continue to pray for Charles and his health. Blessings, Dan Cho

  • Even in our strongest intentions, there is a weakness where we can only rely on God. Sometimes as much as we resist it, it is the most perfect place to be...because when we shed all that "we know to do", then we leave room for God to do what is needed.
