Foolswork is a community of friends that strive to get out into the community and be involved in the lives and actions of our neighbors. We take a simple approach to everything we are involved in: Get in - Find Out - Do Something. We gather in restaurants - coffee shops and front porches.

  • Baby Sister is Sick

    My baby sister (15 mos. old) has caught a really bad flu. My mom took her to the hospital today to get chest x-rays and bloodwork done, and thankfully it's just the flu and nothing else. Unfortunately, she hasn't been able to sleep or eat in the past day or two, making things exceptionally hard for my parents who have had to stay up with her.   • Daniel's car wreck

    For Daniel Rappe. He was driving today and a guy ran a stops sign and hit his car hard enough to throw it into another car. Prais: all the people involved seem to be ok however the cars are in bad shape. Pray for Daniel as he now has to find a new car - deal with the insurance and find a summer job.

  • Breath for Tori Bolin

    Tori is the 14-year-old daughter of my friends Tommy and Melody Bolin. She was born with a lung disorder that has baffled doctors since her birth. On Tuesday she was admitted again to Texas Children's Hospital with severe complications.

    I am constantly praying for Foolswork. We have so many decisions and fears and questions and misunderstandings and confusing moments that we are spending a lot of time lately just spinning.     Morgan is one of our team members and she has a constant tummy ache. Please pray for the doctors to figure out why she is feeling so uncomfortable. (On the really cool side - the Dr.'s had he swallow a camera that sends pictures to a computer every so often. How cool is that?!?)   • New connections in our Neighborhood

    This week we have the opportunity to spend a day with Pastor Larry. He is the pastor of an established church in our neighborhood and in our opinion he a "gate keeper" into this community. Please pray for our meeting and specifically that God will show us they way he wants us to go in the relationship.

  • Heart Transplant Needed

    We have an opportunity to help a community in Vietnam. There is a little girl that needs an open heart transplant this summer and we have agreed to raise the support for this surgery. The total amount needed as of today is only $2500 USD. please pray for us as we, a group of college students, raise this much needed money.

He started introducing us to members of the community that could help us move into the Heights much faster than we ever imagined or dreamed.
